I remember the first time I tried to drive a manual car it was one of the scariest things ever. My dad was trying to teach me, I am not the greatest driver but I pretty good. I remember we were going around one more time around the block and there was this turkey vulture just chilling in the middle of the road. Well we stop at the stop sign and as I slow down the turkey began to circles us and stalked us as if we his prey. Now the turkey vulture was vicious and very ugly and I started to freak so I slowly started to shift from 1st to 2nd. The turkey vulture also decided to shift 1st to 2nd and he started to follow us like a crazy bird. I decided to shift to third and we eventually got away because I shifted into third.
I wish I could change that quickly. Adjusting to change might be one of the most difficult things a person may encounter in life. The funny thing is that is always happens and you and I do our very best to avoid it. It’s like getting old its going to happen. For me it’s been a struggle to deal with change but I receive it with open arms.
Now I must learn how to adapt to the change and not missed out on this opportunity to change. I ask myself why must I change, then I realize change is just an opportunity to grow. As a believer I must grow in order to mature. Now growth is important and we must discover where we need growth in. I say we need grow in everything we face. How we react to the change will be the key to our growth.
Change is tough to deal with but if we make right moves it help us live a better life not only for us but for others. For we are to be transformed by God and one of the ways he transformers us is by throwing change into our life. The change can gives us hope if we look at it with right perspective.
So next time you get a quarter, nickel, dime or penny know that your going to have face change sooner or later
I used to live in Portland, OR. Now I live Pleasanton, CA. That was my big Change
